On one of my many trips to the mall I noticed one of the trends this spring is the trench detail. New York & Company is one of my favorite stores to shop for work clothes. They have silk tops with rolled sleeves and trench belt. The blouse can be worn over kakis or nice slack. This is a smart conservative look for the office or for a night out on the town. Also making a come back this season is the sailor stripe. Stripes, in my opinion, never went out of style and is a very classic pattern. Along with the stripe are sailor pants. I like the high waist cut pants with the button details at the waist. New York & Company carry petite sizes from 2 on up which is great for us short people. It saves me money and a trip to the tailor.
